Couldn’t have stumbled upon a more appropriate song to declare who He is and what perhaps our expectations are from Someone who never stops working, simply so that we?

Can rest, praise and worship as He goes to work on our behalf and promises to leave us in astonishment, awe and wonder.

On the other side of our obedience.

Let our voices rise in unison and our hearts beat with one accord!

Hallelujah 🙌🏻

Behold! I do a new thing🌟

On the eve of this New Year, that God is using to usher us into a whole new era, I felt an unction to pray over all of us,

Heavenly Father, we foremost thank You for bringing us through yet another year that marks the end of a whole decade that has seen us see you walk with us, talk with us, guide us and love us. We thank You for the sheer integrity of Your Character. We acknowledge that we are who we are simply because You are who You say you are. Thank You for being both, The Father who never fails, and The Friend that sticks closer than a Brother. Thank you that You remain unchanging and therefore, we can rest and walk into the year, 2020 with a confidence that comes from knowing that You have gone into all our tomorrows and have not only made our crooked paths straight, but also made provisions for us whenever we would be in need. We thank You for You always meet us at our point of need, and unfailingly fill us to the overflow. Father, help us, strengthen us and bless us with the abundance of Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus. We ask that the coming year would be filled with the joy of seeing promises realised and fresh pathways being forged. We also ask for strength, love and wisdom to freely flow from Your Bosom to ours, in order that we would be willing to let go of that which no longer serves us, and instead lay hold of the newness of life that has a way of being made new, not only with every new year or decade, but with every new day.
In Jesus’ Invincible Name,
we pray!
Amen.”

Thank You, Lord!

3️⃣1️⃣st December, 2019 : the last day of the decade!

Dear 31st December,

You came sooner than expected. The days that led to you went by swifter than the wind. They were filled with all kinds of experiences, some felt like valleys and some like mountain tops. There were times where the unexpected intervened like a mighty rushing wind, and then there were times where the call to persevere felt stronger than the desire for breakthrough. The 364 days that have ushered you in have left us deeply humbled and profoundly grateful. All in all, you come with a bag of mixed emotions. You come with a sense of gratitude for all that was and a sense of wonder for all that will be. You come with a tinge of excitement and a gleeful expectancy of all that our Maker has in store for us. So we take a moment in time to pause and say, “thank you,” for being a catalyst to usher in a new era with new birthings and beginnings, for being a bridge that connects our history to our destiny and for being a game changing tool, for in you, we can now safely say a thankful “goodbye” to a time frame in our lives that has left us enriched, equipped and empowered in ways beyond articulation, and echo a joyful “hello there” to the new thing that God is doing in our midst, a new thing that comes with fresh faith, favour and focus.

Thank you for your arrival and we ask that you would seamlessly transition us now as we bid farewell!

Signing off with a confident expectation,

❄️☀️

Sealed with love 💌

Dear 2019,

Thank you for being exceeding and abundant. Thank you for being the year where Identity and Purpose were both forged and cultivated through Love. Thank you for teaching me that I am never forsaken but am always cherished and treasured by my Creator. Thank you for revealing pathways where it seemed like dead ends. Thank you for establishing that our access to the promised rivers of living water is unlimited. Thank you for helping me to be a tiny sprinkling of light wherever it was that you guided me. Thank you for prospering me through the pain and promising me a seven fold return. Thank you for being a vessel in the Hands of God to not only reveal who He really is, in Spirit and in Truth; but also who I am in Him; and shall continue to become. Thank you for being a monumental year in my growth and development, and letting it spill over to those around me. Thank you for serving me well and enabling me to serve you too. Thank you that now as you usher us into not only a brand new year but also a brand new era, we can do so with utmost gratitude in our hearts for you were a womb that God used to birth that which we have an eager expectation to see made manifest through the Eternal jewels of Sovereignty, Majesty and Supremacy in the year that is to come. Thank you 2019, for setting up the stage and setting us on fire. Thank you!

Signed with love,

❤️

Amen👑

Whether it’s old longings that need to come to fruition or fresh passions that need to be birthed, praise is the highway that not only paves the way, but even fills the space between what has been and what is yet to come.

“For the testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of prophecy.” (Revelation 19:10)

As we ponder on the miracles He has performed in the year past and make our way into a brand new one, I pray that bringing to remembrance all those times that He made a way, created a miracle, bridged the gap, opened the door, kept a promise and held us close will strengthen our hearts and fortify our faith to believe that if He has been so faithful with things in the past (and He remains unchanging) then He will continue to remain faithful with things to come.

So let us declare the praises of Him whose promises are “Yes” and “Amen.”

Amen?

I believe so.

💜

How much?

“I don’t have to wonder when I can trust, because when I trust, I will be left in wonder.”

Our God calls us to see the invisible and believe the outrageous. His thoughts and ways are much higher than ours, and usually revealed in glimpses or entirety, through the promises He releases over our lives.

These promises are from Heaven to Earth, and therefore require us to, above all else,

Trust.

Trusting in the nature of God gives us the faith to believe in what He will do. My own experience tells me that each time doubt tries to creep in to infect the Perfect Word of God grounded in His loving kindness towards us, we need to be proactive in reminding ourselves of who Our God is.

True.

When we recall the faithfulness of God in our lives, we will be reminded that Our God is True. He is not a man that He should lie and is true to His Word. The process towards the realisation of what He has decreed is certainly going to see us navigate the tumultuous waters of unbelief, but fixing our gaze on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith is the perfect antidote. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is Eternal.

Our God is Sovereign, Majestic and Supreme. When He speaks, He creates a spiritual reality where we have the absolute privilege and delight of putting our hands in His, and letting Him teach us how to journey through.

Journey through with peace, joy, love and a confident assurance of seeing goodness and glory manifest not only when the outcome is released, but even through the process.

Because The One we are walking with is True, we never have to wonder about things like, “how” and “when,” when can simply rest in trust.

Trust moves the very heart of God. I believe it moves Him so much that He goes to war on our behalf. When we feel battle weary or worn out, it is He who picks it up from where we left off. And when He picks it up, we as His Children, find the courage to do so too.

More than the process or the promise, it is this journey that wins my heart over every single day. It is this journey that elevates me above the state of my circumstances and teaches me to view things differently, from a heavenly perspective and not an earthly one. It is this journey that gives me the room to explore the heart of The One who is infinite yet dwells within. It is this journey that shows me the strength of God made manifest in my weakness. It is this journey adorned with signs and wonders all around that tethers me to the affections of The One who has given me His Word in the first place.

Friends, it is this journey where Sovereignty honours simple, child like trust, a trust that is sure to leave us in wonder, astonishment and awe, not only because we see the realisation of what once seemed impossible, but we see beyond.

We see the heart of The One who is True and Trustworthy, thereby inspiring only one question,

How much do You love us?

👑❤️

White as snow❄️

This pristine rose is the closest I could get to anything remotely resembling a snow flake in my vicinity. Snowflakes inevitably come to mind when we think of Christmas, and this Christmas morning, I wonder if that has anything to do with the coming of The One whose birth we celebrate this day,

Jesus Christ.

Earlier this day, He laid something on my heart that I would love to share,

“Peace: the peace I give you, the world can’t give nor take away.”

The peace that Jesus offers us, friends is a peace that flows freely from another world. It is a peace that surpasses understanding. It is a peace that supersedes the state of our circumstances. It is a peace that comes to us from the very heart of God, something the world can’t give nor take away.

The Peace of God is a gift that came wrapped in swaddling clothes in a manger and eventually hung on a tree to offer us a forgiveness of our sins, a brand new start right where we are and life everlasting in Eternity. This Peace is knowing that because Someone chose to shed His Blood to cover us, we are now pure and white as snow. We may not be perfect, but we don’t have to even try. For Perfection went to The Cross and granted us the Peace of knowing that we have been made right with God. The Peace of knowing that we are fully accepted and loved by God. The Peace of knowing that we are The Beloved of God. The Peace of knowing that we are chosen and called by God. The Peace of knowing that we have a hope and a future. The Peace of knowing that we are who we are, simply because He is who He is.

As I hasten to a gentle close this morning, I hope and pray that even in the midst of whatever it is that we may have going on in our lives, it is the Peace of God who will find us and ground us in His Presence,

For the Peace I’m talking of is the very Person and Presence of The One who calls us white as snow,

Jesus Christ.

Merry Christmas to all!!

The December of 2017: The Power of Praise🙌🏻

Two years back, the month of December looked rather bleak for The Taylors. Their two year old son, Jaxon became extremely sick to the point where even doctors seemed to have reached a dead end.

December 25th, 2017 is the date I personally noticed as I viewed this video. The countless thousands of people from around the globe prayed for God to heal this delicate baby completely. As his mother, Janie scrolls through the social media page, I couldn’t help but be moved by the amount of prayers that people kept posting incessantly, giving The Taylor’s the hope, support and encouragement they needed at a time when perhaps most toddlers were busy unwrapping their Christmas gifts and moving about with a buoyancy that was rightfully Jaxon’s too.

At a juncture such as this, God moved within the hearts of worship leaders, Jonathan and Melissa Helser. Undoubtedly, voices of unbelief and hopelessness tried to take over but then something magical happened.

From a place deep within arose a melody that eventually translated into a worship song that the band went to war with. They sent a recording to Jaxon’s father, Joel who played it countless times as he held the phone over his baby boy.

And then it happened.

The miracle the world awaited.

Jesus rose Jaxon up and the miraculous story of this baby boy’s recovery by the power of praise continues to serve as a testimony to one and all.

December 25th is only a couple of minutes away as I type. I hope and pray that as you see this video, God will speak to you in His own personal way such that regardless of the circumstances that this Christmas hands you, His Peace, Grace, Love and Comfort will envelop you.

Love always💜

God of The Impossible.

“The wise men were packing, the angels were watching and the shepherds had no idea whose mother just walked past them.

Everything was about to change forever.”

– Bob Goff

The birth of Christ Jesus was destined to change everything. Forever. The God of salvation, redemption and restoration may have been birthed in a manner rather modest, but nothing takes away from His Majesty to make happen that which our natural human strength, strategy and wisdom would perhaps fail to accomplish. I think there is such a profundity to a verse that we can stake our lives on,

“With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:26)

Regardless of what this last week of the year looks like, we can take heart in the truth that our brokenness, our lack, our inadequacy when entrusted to The God who does the impossible will indefinitely see all things turning and changing for our good and His Glory.

Friends, I hope and pray that as we place God in the center of our lives, and seek His wisdom, strength and strategy for the year to come; we will relax in the knowledge that when He moves, nothing remains the same.

So here’s to a fresh start and a warm welcome to an era that though unknown is full of promise and purpose, simply because of The One who not only holds the era, but even shapes it.

Again, for our good and His Glory!

Merry Christmas Eve to all!
🌟⛄️❄️🎊🎄🎅🏻❤️🎂

Thank you💛

As surely as this pretty yellow rose is beaming at you, so am I. Cultivating a heart of gratitude towards Christmas as we take time to ponder and reflect on the very many wonders that Our God has performed in our midst in the year that is passing us by even as I type, is a surefire way to keep us warm from within even should fog and mist, or snow and frost surround us. And my gratitude would not be complete without thanking every single one of you all who has ever taken the time to stop by, read a post, drop an encouragement or write out a blessing.

“THANK YOU!” for being a part of this story and journey with me.

I hope and pray that as we take the time to unplug and unwind, renew and revive, we will discover new strength rising up from within, a new resolve to enter into the new era that God has prepared for us with a new zeal that comes from being thankful for what was, is and is yet to come!

All my love❤️
