Like a pearl formed in an oyester

Fortifying me internally
Within the safe cocoon of Your Love for me.

It’s the brilliance of Your thoughts
That take residence in mine
Always so glorious
To sit with You and dine.

Some pearls may take years
But with me, You took Eternity
And still You continue to work
With a passion that flows endlessly.

Spontaneous as the wind
Yet immovable as a rock
Is how Your Love is revealed
Each time we commune and talk.

No beginning, no end
Yet You’re the alpha and omega
So form me as You will
At every nook and every bend.

Come what may

The canopy of Your Grace covers me
My enemies have no choice but to flee
I love the way You fight for me
It’s the reason I lift my eyes to thee.

The richness of Your Presence
Is the confidence that enables me to run
For I know You’re with me
So fear and doubt I simply shun.

Your Love is my wrap-around shield
Which gives me the courage to wield
The sword of the Spirit
Your Word, which sets me free.

My times, You hold in Your Hands
So comforting to know
Each day ordained
Before You ever let me go.

The roads can be winding
The wind can be wild
But You’re my inner compass
Is why I’ll never cease to shine.

The glory in my midst
Is who You are
So come what may
I know You’re never far.

As I roll it on Your shoulders
I’ll watch You move the boulders

As You’ve always proven.

Turning the deluge into a tiny drizzle
The drops sliding off the one You hold dear.

I know You reign supreme, Lord
So I call You, “Holy and True,”
In turn, You call me Your preciousness
For that’s who I am in You.

Seasons change
But the way we walk will remain
Forever etched out in the depths of my soul
For now I know You in the way I have never known.

An oasis of peace
Are the depths of Your Love to me
Brooks of bliss You offer me
In the middle of the mystery.

So whether on this side or that
It doesn’t really matter anymore
For The One who does
Has found me forevermore.

You’re my Father
But also the King of Glory
Whose bloodstains have titled my story
With a song called, “Victory.”

The simplicity of, “Simply believe”
Simply wrecks me
Taking away the need to know
It sets me free.

It’s a freedom like I’ve never known
Yet I know deep within
That as I let go
He keeps filling me back in.

Because He’s so full
I’m so free
It’s the sanctity of relationship
That brings me back to thee.

He never does let go
It’s His faithfulness and loving kindness
That tells me there’s no need to know.

For He holds my whole world in His Hands
Holy and Heavenly
Yet so humble

I wake up to Your Smile each day
For when You look at me
You see a fabric of Your being
Your Beloved who brings You great joy.

I know You’re singing over me
And teaching me to rejoice
For the grace gift called, “Today,”
Leaves me with no choice.

But to be alive to the beauty You bestow
So lavishly, so extravagantly
There is nothing You withhold
For You love to endow.

Endow us with the splendour of Your Majesty
It’s pretty much our amnesty
So Lord, will You come?
For together, we will run.

Drenched in a massive outpour.

I surrender my ways to Yours
And taste the life you died to give
It’s a life of Pure Love
That I now get to live.

Welcome Spring!

Never seen Love like Yours
Never tasted anything so sweet
Never been held by anything so strong
So pure, so pristine.

It covers me.
It frees me.
It strengthens me.

It’s the Love that runs in me
that finds its way back Home
Each time I come to you
And You call me Your own.

Grace finds me in my time of need
He may find me broken
But He leaves me complete.

Mercy kisses me on the head
And tells me all is well
For the sound that I hear
Is not that of the clouds thundering
But rather, it’s The Lion that’s roaring.

Roaring over His Sons and Daughters
The song of victory resounding from Heaven
For as surely as we wait,
Hope will never let us be delayed.

For His mind is made up
It’s our hearts that need to catch up
And as they do
He’ll change the times and seasons too.

For they are turning as we wait
Ever so patiently
For Majesty to reveal Himself
In all of His risen glory!
