Manna raining from Heaven
Quail to feed us at twilight
You always do provide
For Your Heart is pure delight.

Even rocks have to split
We see water gushing out
Your care and compassion
Take control of our famine and drought.

At times, You take the long route
Growing us up as we walk it out
Every step is a step taken with You
For it’s You who make our hearts stout.

Now we are passing over
From desert to promised land
A land flowing with milk and honey
For You’ve scattered our enemies and told them to flee.

We praise and prophesy
The Truth that sets us free
Our portion, our prize
You’re incomparable in all of Your resplendent glory.

In a season that’s teaching me to be more fluid and flexible than ever, this one thing simply comes as a reminder. I normally like to celebrate milestones. This time, in the midst of all the whirlwind, I crossed 300 posts without even realising it. Today, however, on an unction, I decided to check.

The number staring at me was this : 316

And the first thing to leap up in my spirit was,

John 3:16

Having felt a strong urge to share a verse that will forever remain etched out across the timeline of the Universe, I really couldn’t resist but share,

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

(John 3:16)

Furthermore, The Lord laid yet another verse on my heart that I pray encourages all of us at a time where I believe it is only the light of His Love that is able to dispel all darkness. Here goes,

“He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?”

(Romans 8:32)

All things new

“See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness
and streams in the wasteland.
The wild animals honor me,
the jackals and the owls,
because I provide water in the wilderness
and streams in the wasteland,
to give drink to my people, my chosen, the people I formed for myself
that they may proclaim my praise.”

(Isaiah 43:19-21)

From Egypt to Canaan
Is our journey with You
For You go before
Leading us through.

In a cloud by day and fire by night
Is the sheer display of Your glorious might
Manna from Heaven to sustain us
For we know the plans You have for us.

To make our exodus complete
You will tear apart the Red Sea
From wilderness to promised land
It is Your Faithfulness on which we stand.

This Passover, I pray that The Lord would bless each of us with something that He has laid on my heart:

The Faith of Abraham
The Courage of Esther
The Leadership of Moses
The Tenacity of Joshua
The Wholeheartedness of Caleb
The Heart of David
The Wisdom of Solomon

And above all else,

The Love of Jesus.

Grace gift from God

Your mercy pursues me
Your goodness overwhelms me
Your compassion comforts me
Your grace empowers me
Your kindness melts me
Your peace calms me
Your beauty enamours me
Your favour follows me
Your love fights for me
Your freedom reigns in me
Your majesty astonishes me
Your protection emboldens me
Your presence dwells in me
Your passion surrounds me
Your faithfulness anchors me

Who You are, is a gift to me.

“You make known to me the path of life;
you will fill me with joy in your presence,
with eternal pleasures at your right hand.” (Psalm 16:11)

And that’s where You’ve seated me.
At Your right hand.

To God be the Glory!

Sunday simmers…

You go deep in Your Love
To set us free
For You have not given us a spirit of fear or timidity
But of power, love and a sound mind that is stayed on thee.

So we look unto You, our Christ
Leaving all things behind
Fixing our gaze on You
For You make all things new.

We will keep our lamps burning
For our Hope is alive in You
Walking with full assurance
That You will soon change the hue.

Revive Your Promises
Breathe afresh on them
We trust in Your unfailing goodness
For Great is Your Faithfulness.

I AM is

Your shoulders are broad enough
To carry our burdens
Your wings are large enough
To cover the waters.

Your arm is long enough
To pull us from the deep
Your heart is full enough
To meet our every need.

Your hands are loving enough
To hold our whole world
Your mercy is strong enough
To meet us at every curve.

Your touch is healing enough
To melt our fears
Your grace is sufficient enough
To sustain us when it seems a bit too near.

Your compassion is tender enough
To feel our infirmity
Your splendour is sure enough
To raise us up triumphantly.

Your promises are mighty enough
To be our song of victory
Your glory is weighty enough
To dispel all trickery.

Your nature is impeccable enough
To help us stake our lives on it
Your finished work is more than enough
To anchor us so we may never take a hit.

You’re enough, Lord.
Enough.
