Crosswalk: The Cross that meets me on a walk

The rain came
The winds blew
The chairs flew
But a ray of light glimmered and I just knew.

The sun will shine again
The singing will return
The harvest is waiting
For you and me to turn.

To turn our gaze
From the haze to The Grace
Who never left us then and He doesn’t change
So our songs will go up yet another range.

Till our hearts come alive
With the true joy deep within
Who finds a way to meet us
No matter where we’ve been.

Let’s find the rainbow in the clouds
Or perhaps even better
Let’s just become one
For what we have to share is the greatest Love Letter.

✝️❤️

We believe

In a most unprecedented time
In the history of mankind
Perhaps there really wasn’t a better time
To be gracious, compassionate and kind.

But we can’t do it in our own strength
So guide us in Your Wisdom
Comfort us when we are hurting
For in You, we find our healing.

Let us bring our troubled hearts to You
For in return, You have promised peace
With a confident reassurance we will sing to You
Our praises of resounding victory.

You’re our Maker and Mediator
So open up the floodgates of Heaven
Loose our cities and nations
And restore us to our promised haven.

Clear our vision
For though it’s foggy and misty
The haze is nothing for You
For You are The King of Glory!
👑

Way Maker

One of the most vibrant songs I’ve heard. In this time of what we perhaps can’t get a grip on, what I believe truly helps is getting a grip on the Truth that sets us free!

I do hope this resonates well with you! Let’s keep Hope alive, because He is ❤️

The Who.

Leaning on You; mind,body, soul
All I experience is Your Shalom
Sheltered and held as I rely on You
I reign in freedom as my focus is on the, “Who.”

The Who who authored my life
The alpha and the omega
The Who who calls me by name
When it’s Your Name that is worthy of all fame.

The Who who has ordained each day I live
As I live, move and have my being in thee
The Who who tells me, “Do not fear”
For You are with me.

The Who who knew me before You put me in my mama’s belly
My Destiny etched out in Your Heart
As You released me into time
To perhaps find the oneness of Your thoughts with mine.

The Who who reigns in Glory yet knows every detail of my life
For nothing catches You by surprise
Your Throne remains unshaken
From where You fight for all Your children.

The Who who is my hope and my confidence
Who met me when I was just so numb and tense
You released my fears as Your Love came rushing in
Now the only way I go is all the way in.

The Who who has given us the victory
And is the theme song of our story
Who may have been the lamb, but is also The Lion
So we can wholly trust in the mount called Zion.
✝️

Be still and know

Don’t be distracted
And be anxious for nothing
Trust in Jehovah
For His Love has taken over.

He intervenes right on time
But can we be still meanwhile?
Reflecting on His unfailing faithfulness
And reminding ourselves of His unchangingness.

Tests may come
But only to reveal the gold hidden deep within
For we are salt and light
That shine only when it is a bit grim.

The sun will shine again
But we don’t postpone our joy to one day when
This is the day The Lord has made
So we will rejoice and pay attention.

To His Voice
Which drowns out all the noise
Cuts through the dark
For His Love never misses the mark.

Quiet Love

As surely as Your Glory has no end
Neither does Your Love
It’s constant, it’s unrelenting
It’s the core of all of my orienting.

Should I deviate, You’re quick to come
Counsel, correct, exhort, encourage
So I pray You keep me steadfast
So that I can faithfully get past.

All the things that pull me down
And instead, fix my gaze on The One who truly counts
For I trust in Your Heart towards me
Never have You failed me, never have You forsaken me.

You’ve only ever pulled me closer and taken me deeper
Into the chambers of Your quiet love
Where the sunshine of Your Smile
Tells me to put on hold my plans for a while.

So I can bask in glory of Your Presence
And receive the truth of revelation
Which always sets me free and makes me whole
So once again, I rise up in jubilation.

Still is …

As we roll into the start of yet another week, The Lord laid it on my heart to remember, regardless of circumstances, who He still is.

*He is still our Savior

*He is still our Father

*He is still our Shepherd

*He is still our Friend

*He is still our Healer

*He is still our Deliverer

*He is still our Redeemer

*He is still our Refuge

*He is still our Fortress

*He is still our Bulwark

*He is still our Hope

*He is still our Rock

*He is still our Salvation.

He still is who He says He is.

I don’t know about you, but that’s hugely comforting to me to know that at a time where all else seems to be changing, I’m blessed enough to know The One who never does.
